Hard cover with Dust Jacket. DUST JACKET: DJ is in tatters. Barely holding together by itself - Heavy wear to all extremities. The front and rear flap joints are half-way worn through. There is an inch long tear from the top of the front panel. There is some soiling on the white parts of the dj, possibley from fingering. Now protected in mylar dust jacket cover. BOOK: Is in far better condition than the dust jacket. There is light wear to the cover edges. Some white specks along the back of the spine, and some on the front cover. The gilt lettering on the spine has faded some, but is still bright and quite readable. THe binding is tight with no looseness to the pages. There is some soiling (dust soiling) or foxing on the page block edges and a streak of black felt tip pen on the top of the page block. A few pages have some dings, but generally the pages are flat without dog-earing. There is a gift inscription on the first blank page "February '49/For Sally and Bill-/With deep appreciation for your/help and encouragement-/Two A.A.'s". Otherewise the book is clean of previous owner markings. Also, laid in is a 3 1/2 page letter on Fresno A.A. stationary, part of it detailing chores the writer is encountering being newly appointed secretary of the local A.A. group. BD27a
