Alcoholics Anonymous; The Story of How Many Thousands of Men and Women Have Recovered from Alcoholism. Works Publishing Inc. 1948. Stated Twelfth Printing, October, 1948. 6" x 8 3/4" 400 pages Hardcover with no dust jacket. Gilt lettering on spine 'Alcoholics Anonymous' has almost completely worn off while 'Works Publishing Company' on the spine is almost completely whole. There is light smudging on the cover. Generally, moderate cover edge wear with a couple of small spots on the bottom of the spine where it's heavy. Foxing on the edges of the page block and inside the front and back covers. Previous owners name and address in pencil inside the front cover.  I did find incidental markings between pages 146 and 147. I do find some foxing on individual pages, and there are some page corner folds. There is a little looseness to the front cover, but there are no tears or breaking in the binding. I see no other previous owner markings. No other tears, folds or creases to pages. Binding is tight with no looseness to pages. Not ex-library, not remaindered and not a facsimile reprint. For sale by Jon Wobber, bookseller since 1978. II23a
