(1939). With 'FR' device on copyright page with no printings indicated, indicating this is a first printing. Hardcover with no dust jacket. Glued on wraparound label is complete, but with wear to the edges of the spine. Spine of the book is sun-faded with the gilt lettering on the spine also faded, but still legible. A light sprinkling of white ink or paint on the top of the cover. Top corner of the front cover is bumped.
