Dark Blue hardcover with bright gilt lettering on the front cover. No lettering on the spine as published. Minimal wear to the cover. THere is a descrete ownship sticker on the first blank page, and for a different person inside the back cover. There is slight tanning on the inside edges of the back and front covers, appear to be a result of the publisher's endpaper glue. There are no folds or creases to the pages. Other than the 2 stickers, there are no previous ownership markings. Binding is tight and firm with no looseness. AH23c
George DeMott (1907-1986) was a professional juggler, magician, and clown throughout the U.S. and Canada for 45 years, touring with circuses, in vaudeville, and for school assembly bureaus. He was the author of a book on specialty juggling technique entitled Want to Be a Juggler?, published in 1962. DeMott was a collector of showbusiness memorabilia, and both his personal scrapbooks and collection of ephemera are held in the Billy Rose Theatre Collection of the New York Public Library.
