Paints, Colors, Enamels, Varnishes for Railway Equipment. Acme White Lead of Color Works. (No date, perhaps as early as 1890). 4 5/8" x 9 1/4" (measurements approximate) 42 pages Hardcover with no dust jacket. Many tipped in samples of paints, colors, enamels and varnishes. Some wear and soiling to the covers. "Railway paints" written on the spine in black ink by a previous owner. Erasure marks on the front end paper. Most of the pages with samples were published with a leaf of tissue paper protecting the opposite page from the samples. I found one tissue with a tear and another that was torn with part of it being stuck to the sample. I do not believe there are any missing samples although on page 24, there are listings of 6 products without samples. No other previous owner markings. No other tears, folds or creases to pages. Binding is tight with no looseness to pages. Not ex-library, not remaindered and not a facsimile reprint. For sale by Jon Wobber, bookseller since 1978. sKG10b
