George Routledge & Sons, Limited. no date (probably 1890 - 1900). 16th edition. 4 1/4" x 6 3/4" 159 pages Hardcover with no dust jacket. Red Cross with easily legible lettering on the spine and front cover. The spine was detached from the  back. I have inexpertly repaired but the separation where it was detached still shows. Heavy wear on the top and bottom of the spine and the cover tips. Cover shows evidence of water drops. There also appears to be water exposure at the bottom of the spine. On the back of the frontispiece is a previous owner's name in ink and a British price in pencil. Frontispiece is detached at the bottom quarter of the page. There is some heavy ink underlining, mostly in the beginning of the book.  No tears, folds or creases to pages. Binding is tight with no looseness to pages.
