"Here at last is the inside story of the birth of the Psychedelic Age. Albert Hofmann, famed research chemist, recounts the intriguing history of his problem child, LSD.
We follow Dr. Hofmann on a tortuous journey of discovery: the systematic research, the incredible accidents, the frightening personal experiment that was, nearly forty years ago, the first LSD trip." from the blurb on the dust jacket.
