An early printing of 'The Prophet' author, Kahlil Gibran's, first book. Book has moderate cover edge wear. Wear is heavy on the top of the spine. Gilt lettering and decoration on the front cover is slightly faded, but still quite legible. Gilt on the spine is completely faded. There is some foxing to the full page illustrated pages. Foxing has bled a bit onto the adjacent pages. Otherwise, no previous owner markings. No tears, folds or creases to pages. Binding is tight with no looseness to pages.
