Mission, Kansas. 8" x 11" Dark brown hardcover (leatherette?) with bright gilt lettering and Cloverdale City Seal on the front cover. 220 pages. Front endpaper with a reprint of a map and pictures of Cloverdale published in 1882. Back endpapers a black and white photograph of the Geyser area showing steam plumes. Black and white photographs on just about every page. Some water-staining on the tops of pages from page 220 disappearing to about page 180. There is a number '42' written on a 1 1/2" square piece of paper pasted inside the back endpaper. This may be the numbering of a limited edition of unknown copies. Some cover scuffing and scratches only slightly breaking through the surface color at the top and bottom of the spine. Otherwise, no previous owner markings. No tears, folds or creases to pages. Binding is tight with no looseness to pages. Not ex-library, not remaindered and not a facsimile reprint. For sale by Jon Wobber, bookseller since 1978. EF09a
