Burgess/ 1921" on the first blank page. 6" x 8 1/4" xvi, 353 pages Hardcover with no dust jacket. Bright gilt leterring on the front cover. GIlt lettering on the spine is somewhat faded, but still quite legible. Front cover illustration is also bright. There is moderate cover wear on the edges, and some on the cover surfaces. Light soiling on the cover surfaces. Light tanning to the edges of the page block. Previous owners name written in pencil on the first blank page above the Burgess inscription. Light tanning inside the front cover. The last twenty five or so, pages show light foxing. No other previous owner markings.  No tears, folds or creases to pages.
